Original watercolor mixed media drawing signed on the lower right "Fautrieu, 1950-60." Composition, not titled but typical with works of this period. Jean Fautrier was born in 1898-1964 and is a major figure in Art Informel, a similar style to American abstract expressionism. The work comes in good condition, there is a minor tear showing on the edge. It measures 7 1/4 inches x 9 inches and 12 1/4 inches x 14 1/4 inches including the frame.
